Second Sight and Sound is a comprehensive production company based in Los Angeles, California. Our goal is to provide a one-stop-shop for various artistic and mission-driven organizations in creating the media they need to tell their stories.
The company is operated by Los Angeles based freelance artist and musician, Justin Howe. After beginning his career in the production world in Chicago, Justin moved to Los Angeles to further pursue the opportunities in film and music.
As a cinematographer, editor, colorist and composer, Justin has worked on a number of award winning projects in many different fields. His work as a filmmaker has earned him many awards and accolades in the US and abroad, with screenings at festivals in Cannes and New York. He is currently an editor for an animated Netflix series at Powerhouse Animation Studios located in Austin, TX.
Justin also has a background in music performance and composition. He is proficient in piano, soprano and tenor saxophone, flute, clarinet and guitar. He studied jazz performance at Loyola University Chicago and Classical Piano at The Colburn School in Los Angeles. He is now composing for film at his home studio in East LA.
